site.btaPM Petkov to Take Part in 2022 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos
Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will attend the 2022 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland on May 25-26, the Government's press service reported here on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Petkov will participate in the session themed A Lost Decade?, dedicated to the challenges facing the world today and ways to tackle them.
Later in the evening, the Bulgarian Prime Minister will attend a dinner, hosted by Borge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum.
This year's World Economic Forum Annual Meeting is held between May 22 and 26 under the theme History at a Turning Point: Government Policies and Business Strategies. The forum brings together over 2,000 economic and political leaders, intellectuals, journalists and experts from across the world. They will discuss a broad range of issues, including the recovery of global cooperation, bringing back the economic balance, the fight against climate change, industry's transformation, innovations, governance, cybersecurity, among others.
Bilateral meetings are on the agenda of Prime Minister Petkov's visit.
