site.btaPM Petkov Meets with German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce

Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and Government representatives met with the governing board of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Government Information Service said Friday. The meeting was aimed at having direct dialogue with the business to work in support of economic growth and improved competitiveness of small- and medium-size enterprises and companies with potential to sell abroad.

Also discussed were current topics related to the improvement of the business environment, guaranteeing the rule of law and measures to attract foreign investors.

Representatives of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce presented a draft memorandum on e-governance to be signed by the Cabinet in the future. 

Also attending the meeting were e-Government Minister Bozhidar Bozhanov, German Ambassador to Bulgaria Christoph Eichhorn, and Kaloyan Metodiev, head of the Economy Minister's political cabinet.
