Agriculture Minister Ivan Ivanov held a meeting with oil-bearing rose growers in Kazanlak on Sunday. Participating were also Labour and Social Policy Minister Georgi Gyokov, BSP MPs Momchil Nenov and Ivan Chenchev, among others.

Venelin Velikov, representative of the oil-bearing rose growers, addressed issues that the industry faces.

In response, Ivanov invited the rose growers to an official working meeting in the Agriculture Ministry as soon as possible to discuss Branch Organizations Bill and Oil-bearing Rose Bill.

The Agriculture Ministry will support rose growers, so they develop and strengthen their economic sustainability, Ivanov said later Sunday, attending the 119th Rose Festival in Kazanlak.
