site.btaFuel Discount of BGN 0.25/l Takes Effect from July 1

A fuel discount of BGN 0.25 per litre will be available for individuals at gas stations from July 1 as a measure to offset rising prices. It was adopted as part of the budget revision that was voted conclusively by Parliament on Thursday.

The discount will be available until the end of 2022.

The discount applies to motor vehicles owned by a natural person or used by a natural person registered as a user in the registration papers of the motor vehicle. The price reduction applies for up to 50 litres of A-95 gasoline, diesel without additives, liquefied petroleum gas or natural gas. Every final distributor registered under the Value Added Tax Act, with the exception of self-service stations, is obliged to offer the discount.
