The State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC) adopted a final decision on new higher prices of electricity for domestic consumers, effective as of 1.07.2022 until 30.06.2023, the regulator said on Friday.
The price of electricity will change as follows:
for CEZ customers it will appreciate by 3.4% per cent;
for EVN customers it will go up by 3.47%;
for ENERGO-PRO customers – by 4.45%.
The prices include both the electricity and grid services price.
As a result of the minimum raise, household electricity prices in Bulgaria remain the lowest in Europe, EWRC said.
The regulator’s decision followed an open meeting and public discussion with the participation of stakeholders including the Ombudsman, the Bulgarian Federation of Industrial Energy Consumer, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Free Energy Market Association, and civil organisations.
