The Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth is beginning to accept project proposals within the 13th Session of the National Innovation Fund (NIF), BSMEFA said on Monday.
The applications, this time digital, will be accepted from 18.07.2022 until 5:00 on 18.08.2022, via the National Investment Management System (NIMS) at: https://enims.egov.bg/
"Application via NIMS is tailored for this type of project and this will greatly facilitate the overall application process," said Innovation and Growth Minister Daniel Lorer, underscoring that a number of corrections have been made to reduce red tape for companies allowing them to concentrate on the projects.
Funding totals approximately BGN 5.5 million, the maximum value of a grant per project being up to BGN 500,000. Aid intensity will be up to 80 % of the eligible project costs. The minimum duration of each project is 6 months and the maximum duration is 18 months.
Proposals should fall under one of four thematic areas: Informatics and ICT; Mechatronics and Clean Technologies; Industry for Healthy Living and Biotechnology; New Technologies in Creative and Recreative Industries. The budget will be distributed equally among the four.
All rules, documents and information relevant to the 13th NIF Session are available at: https://www.sme.government.bg/?p=58328
