In June the annual inflation in Bulgaria based on the harmonized consumer price index was 14.8%, Eurostat reported. 

EU-wide annual inflation stood at 9.6% in June 2022, up from 8.8% in May, according to Eurostat. A year earlier, it was 2.2 per cent.

The annual inflation in the eurozone was 8.6% in June.

According National Statistical Institute data published on Friday, the annual inflation in Bulgaria in June was 16.9%
