"We have enough grain to feed the Bulgarian population and for export and we don't need Ukrainian grain , outgoing Agriculture Minister Ivan Ivanov told reporters on Friday. He quoted data from his Ministry, according to which there is enough harvested grain and some 6.5 million tonnes have been stored in very good condition. Bulgaria is in no way at risk, Ivanov stressed.

According to him, as of this date only 6,000 tonnes have entered Bulgaria, the majority of which is for re-export.
