site.btaBulgarian Authorities to Check Progress of Greece-Bulgaria Gas Interconnector Construction Every Day

The construction of the Greece-Bulgaria gas interconnector will be checked every day, Regional Development and Public Works Minister Ivan Shishkov said in a Bulgarian National Radio interview Wednesday. The inspections will be carried out by the local structures of the National Construction Supervision authority and the fire service.

The Minister reaffirmed the administration's readiness to provide any support that is needed for the fast completion of the gas interconnector. 

He also said that the contractor is expected to submit a schedule of the unfinished works later on Wednesday.
