site.btaBulgargaz Requests Swap Transaction for September 2022

In order to provide continuous and uninterrupted supply of natural gas, Bulgargaz EAD has purchased a quantity of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the Revithoussa LNG Terminal and has secured a regasification and storage slot for this quantity for a given period taking into consideration the possibilities of the receiving terminal, the public supplier said on Friday.

Having in mind the necessity of an even offtake of the quantities in September 2022, Bulgargaz EAD has made a request to the traders registered and active at VTP Greece for a swap transaction by which Bulgargaz EAD would sell at VTP Greece the quantities during the period for which it has a regasification and storage capacity and after that would buy back the same quantities under the conditions of an even monthly delivery in the period from 7:00 a.m. on September 1, 2022 to 7:00 a.m. on September 26, 2022.

The deadline for the provision of offers is 2:00 p.m. Bulgarian time on August 15, 2022, the press release says.
