site.btaFitch Agency Confirms Bulgarian Development Bank Rating as BBB with Positive Outlook

The international rating agency Fitch Ratings confirmed the long-term credit rating of the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) - "BBB" with a positive outlook.

The bank's rating is equal to the State's rating and is practically the highest possible credit rating for BDB, the financial institution said here on Friday.

The assessment is based on the good capital position of BDB, the high probability and availability of fiscal space for support from its owner, the Bulgarian State, the stable financing from international financial institutions, deposits from the State, State structures and enterprises, as well as the maintained high liquidity, the statement reads.
