Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov and Saudi Ambassador Khalid bin Kamal Faqih discussed bilateral cooperation in the energy field at a meeting on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said.

Ambassador Faqih expressed readiness to hold talks on supplying oil and natural gas to Bulgaria.

Milkov thanked the Ambassador and noted that the ways and means for such a supply should be jointly explored.

During the meeting, the two officials also discussed partnership in areas such as economy, investment, agriculture, tourism, defence, high technology, healthcare, and mutual support for candidacies in international organisations.
