site.btaKozloduy N-plant Director Replaced, Will Contest His Removal

The director of the Kozloduy N-plant, Nasko Mihov, and his deputy Alexander Nikolov have been replaced. This transpired Wednesday from a Bulgarian National Radio interview with Mihov where he said that they will challenge in court their removal.

Mihov would not comment further for BTA and Nikolov said that nobody had contacted them to inform them of their replacement.

A check with the Commercial Register still has Mihov and Nikolov on the Kozlodui Board of Directors.

The decision for the replacement was made by the Board of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) Tuesday and has already been entered in the Commercial Register, writes mediapool.bg. It says that the new director and deputy director are Georgi Kirkov and Andrey Krasnocharov.

Georgi Kirkov, has been deputy mayor of the town of Kozloduy since 2020. Before that he served as the N-plant's finance director. 

Before his appointment in the N-plant management, Krasnocharov was Kozloduy's chief mechanic in charge of repairs. 

The Energy Ministry has not announced anything officially.
