site.btaSofia to Host Bulgaria's Biggest Robotics Event in September

The Professional Association of Robotics and Automation (PARA) will organize what it bills as "Bulgaria's biggest robotics event" - the fourth annual Robotics Strategy Forum at Sofia Tech Park on September 19 and 20, PARA said in a press release on Thursday.

The discussion will focus on nurturing young talents in Bulgaria in the light of the PARA Robotics Incubator initiative helping young people's robotics projects reach the working prototype level.

The discussion part of this year's forum is expected to be opened by Innovation and Growth Minister Alexander Pulev. At a special session, Lazar Petrov of the Fund of Funds will talk about investments for sustainable economic growth.  

In the exhibition part of the event, visitors will be able to see a Festo floating robot inspired by marine animals fins, Giga Automata robots and other projects of Bulgarian integrators. The tasks that these robots can handle in industry will be demonstrated. The prototypes of the participants in the PARA Robotics Incubator will be on view, took, including farmer robots, a hydrogen cell robot, a robotized prosthesis, etc.
