Arsenal ordnance plant in Kazanlak is to open 1,000 jobs, the Director of the Labour Exchange Agency in southern Stara Zagora, Lyuben Georgiev, said on Monday. Agency representatives have met with the plant management who requested recruitment of new staff.

Mostly women of working age are sought for the plants in Kazanlak and Maglizh. The average salary is BGN 1,800, with additional bonuses every three and six months. 

Arsenal currently has some 6,500 employees and plans to increase that number to 8,000, Georgiev said.
