Angel Stoyanov has been dismissed as Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) Holding, the company said on Thursday. Stoyanov took office in April.

Atanas Atanassov, a long time employee at BDZ Holding, has been appointed as member on the Board of Directors. Atanassov holds a Master‘s degree in railway transport technology and organization and in management and marketing.

He has held a number of expert and managerial positions at BDZ related to freight transport.

The Board of Directors is scheduled to meet in order to elect a new executive director.
