site.btaFinance Ministry Plans BGN 2-Plus Bln New Debt by End-2022

In September the Finance Ministry will hold two auctions of government securities worth BGN 400 million and in October four auctions worth BGN 750 million, it transpired from information published on the website of the Ministry. By the end of the year BGN 2.05 billion in new debt can be raised.

In 2022 the limit on new debt has been set at BGN 10.3 billion.

So far BGN 1.8 billion have been raised on the domestic market. 

The Finance Ministry plans to place on the market government securities worth BGN 900 million.
