site.btaE-Government Ministry, Meta Discuss Measures against Disinformation

Officials of the Bulgarian e-Government Ministry and Meta met here to discuss measures against disinformation. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Blagovest Kirilov, Meta Public Policy Manager Vitnija Saldava and CEE Public Policy Director Jakub Turowski, the e-Government Ministry said Wednesday.

Deputy Minister Kirilov underscored that there is a need of a comprehensive approach against fake news.

The Meta officials declared their readiness to work with the Bulgarian institutions.

The two sides agreed that working meetings will be held at expert level.
