There was a 30.2% increase in car sales in Bulgaria in August (2,480 cars sold compared to 1,905 in August last year), there is also an increase for the first eight months of 2022 (January-August) on an annual basis - by 12.9% (19,858 cars sold compared to 17,594 in the same period last year), said the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA).

New car sales in the EU increased slightly in August, up 4.4% year-on-year, after thirteen consecutive months of decline.

In the EU, during the eight months since the beginning of the year, nearly 6 million cars were sold, which is 11.9% less than the same period last year (6.8 million).
