site.btaEurostat: Bulgaria Among EU Countries with Lowest Job Vacancy Rates

The job vacancy rates in Bulgaria in the second quarter of 2022 were 0.9%, the same as in the previous quarter. In the second quarter of 2021, the number of vacant jobs in this country was 0.8%, said Friday European statistical office Eurostat on its website.

In comparison, the share of job vacancies in the EU in the second quarter of 2022 was 3%, and in the Eurozone - 3.2%.

In the EU as a whole, the indicator went up slightly from the level of 2.9%  in the first quarter of 2022 and from 2.2% in the months of April-June 2021.

In the Eurozone, there is also an increase in vacancies of 3.1% for the January-March period and 2.3% compared to the second quarter of 2021, show the Eurostat data.
