The European Economic and Social Committee and the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA)  are organizing a high-level forum in Sofia on Monday afternoon. The topic is "SMEs, Social Economy Enterprises, Crafts, Liberal Professions: Opportunities and Challenges of the Green Transition", the BICA said.

Invited to participate are Innovation and Growth Minister Alexander Pulev and the Managing Director of the Directorate of Programmes, Partnerships and Field Coordination at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO),  Ciyong Zou.

This is the first time that Bulgaria hosts a forum with representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and UNIDO. They will discuss topical questions such as the challenges faced by Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to successfully adjust to the climate neutral and digitalised world, and will analyse the possible avenues to help MSMEs prepare for the transition to climate neutrality.
