AmCham Bulgaria is hosting the annual Best Practice Conference 2022 of Amchams in Europe between October 5 and 8. The chamber says that it has welcomed 37 representatives of 26 chambers from Europe and Eurasia.

AmCham Bulgaria was selected to host the conference at the end of 2019 in competition with other chambers. The proposal by AmCham included a presentation of the innovative community in Bulgaria, its cultural legacy and the excellent places for business in Sofia.

In Sofia, AmChams in Europe are presented by CEO Susan Danger, and Ajsa Vodnik, European Council of American Chambers of Commerce Vice President and members of the Executive Committee. They will be welcomed by AmCham Bulgaria President Olivier Marquette.

"The hosting of such an important conference is a unique opportunity for each of the 46 members of AmChams in Europe. AmCham Bulgaria is thankful to the Network of Amchams for the election of our organization in 2018 and for the fact that this decision stood the test of time and of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our chamber and team made great efforts to organize the conference but it is extremely important to present Bulgaria to this exceptional community of people who share common goals and visions," said Marquette.

The programme of the conference includes interesting events and a special presentation by INSAIT, the Insititute for Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, which is seated in Sofia. Another event is an AmChampion Award Ceremony and a gala dinner, which will recognize the most committed and active AmCham members and many discussions for exchange of best practices and presetnign the Creative Network Awards of AmChams in Europe. The aim is to incentivize AmChams to share creative initiatives and innovative projects to benefit AmChams throughout the ACE network. Last year’s winner was AmCham Croatia with the project “Boardroom Discussion: Digital Transformation from CEO Perspective.”

Established in 1963, AmChams in Europe serves as the umbrella organization for 46 American Chambers of Commerce (AmChams) from 44 countries throughout Europe and Eurasia.

It represents the interests of more than 17,000 American and European companies employing 20 million workers – account for more than $ 1.1 trillion in investment on both sides of the Atlantic.
