More than BGN 753 million will be allocated to support young people and their inclusion in various forms of employment, internships and training under the 2021-2027 Operational Programme "Human Resources Development" (OP HRD). The programme's implementation is expected to help at least 115,500 people who are starting their professional careers to get better employment opportunities, said deputy caretaker Minister of Labour and Social Policy Natalia Efremova at the opening of the 13th edition of National Career Days - IT, Communications and Outsourcing, organized by JobTiger.

Efremova emphasized the importance of digital skills for a successful career in most professions, given today's dynamic labour market and the widespread digitization in every sphere of public life.

The Deputy Minister urged young people and employers to actively take advantage of the training and employment opportunities funded by the state budget and the Operational Programme. She said that the Employment Agency and job centres provide information, career guidance and referral services free of charge. They organize career days, open days, student job fairs, employer days and other events aimed at supporting young people.
