President Rumen Radev thanked Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for his country's support in the delivery of energy resources. "Sincere appreciation to @PrimeministerGR Kyriakos Mitsotakis for his timely support on the delivery of energy resources. Bulgaria and Greece once again prove the value of our strategic partnership," the Bulgarian Head of State tweeted.

Transmission operator ICGB announced today that more than 303,000,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) have been transmitted through the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector in the first days of commercial operation of the facility. The quantities amount to more than 303 GWh from October 1 to 9 included. 

The Greece-Bulgaria gas interconnector was put into commercial operation with an official ceremony in Sofia on 1 October.
