Visiting here on Sunday, caretaker Innovation and Growth Minister Alexander Pulev said that Monday will see the opening of a new procedure under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) that will provide BGN 30 million in total for businesses to incorporate ICT solutions and increase cyber security. A project can receive funding of up to BGN 20,000, he specified.
This is the second procedure to be opened under the NRRP; three more will be launched by the end of 2022, including a procedure for incorporating solar panels and the corresponding infrastructure (BGN 200 million) and a procedure for investment in research and development (BGN 120 million).
The Innovation Ministry’s team is working on opening three procedures under the NRRP within the first half of 2023, Pulev said. He expressed the hope that within weeks another big programme will be sent to Brussels for approval; its limit is BGN 2 billion and its focus are scientific research and business-science interaction.
