Some 66% of Bulgarians will take advantage of this year's Black Friday deals, shows data of the latest Fashion (Re)Search survey of the Glami European fashion search engine, obtained by BTA. Only 8% do not intend to buy fashion items on Black Friday 2022. Another 25% hesitate, while only 1% of the respondents said that they do not know what Black Friday is.
Black Friday is considered the busiest shopping day of the year. It marks the start of the Christmas shopping season. In 2022, Black Friday will be held on November 25.
The survey shows that during the COVID-19 pandemic, consumers have shifted almost entirely to online shopping and fewer people shop in physical stores.
A total of 59% of the respondents said they would leave the physical stores they had went to and place their order online, if those stores are crowded or the queues are too long. Some 27% are certain they will visit physical stores no matter what, while 14% have not yet decided how they will make purchases.
Most of the interviewed ones said they have already decided how much they are willing to spend on fashion items. A total of 32% will spend between BGN 100 and 200, 25% will spend between BGN 200 and 400, and 8% will spend less than BGN 100. Some 22% of the respondents have not yet decided how much they are willing to spend on the Black Friday deals.
