In September, the total producer price index in industry increased by 56.8% compared to the like month of 2021 and by 6.8% compared to August 2022, the National Statistical Institute said Friday.

A significant year-on-year increase was observed in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (148.3%), manufacturing (22.7%), and the mining and quarrying industry (17.9%).

A significant month-on-month increase was registered in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (15.6%), the mining and quarrying industry (6.5%), and manufacturing (0.7%).

The producer price index on the domestic market went up by 78.1% compared to September 2021. Prices rose in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (147.0%), manufacturing (31.2%), and the mining and quarrying industry (14.1%).

The producer price index on the domestic market increased by 9.2% compared to August 2022. The domestic prices grew in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (15.5%), in the mining and quarrying industry (2.0%), and manufacturing (1.7%).
