site.btaCustoms Revenues Up by 20% in September Y/Y

In September, customs revenue totalled nearly BGN 1.220 billion, up by BGN 201.4 million (19.4%), the Customs Agency said on Tuesday.

Revenues from VAT on imported goods and excise duties saw the highest increase. In nine months since the start of the year the Customs Agency collected BGN 9.982 billion in excise, VAT, and fines. Revenues grew by nearly BGN 2.215 billion, or 28.5% compared with the like period of 2021.
