site.btaDeputy PM Aleksiev Visits Greece to Discuss Energy Cooperation, Multimodal Transport Corridor

Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policies and Minister of Transport and Communications Hristo Aleksiev is leading a Bulgarian government delegation that will visit Greece on November 3 and 4, the Ministry of Transport and Communications said on Wednesday.

Bulgaria will also be represented by caretaker Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov, caretaker Minister of Energy Rossen Hristov, and CEOs of Bulgargaz EAD Denitsa Zlateva and Bulgartransgaz EAD Vladimir Malinov.

Aleksiev will hold talks with Greece's Infrastructure and Transport Minister Kostas Karamanlis, Environment and Energy Minister Kostas Skrekas, Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis, among others.

The main topics will be the accelerated development of the Multimodal Transport Corridor project (connecting Thessaloniki-Kavala-Alexandroupolis-Burgas-Varna-Ruse). Energy cooperation, energy security, diversification and the green transition will also be discussed.
