The Agribusinessman of Bulgaria 2022 award was presented on Tuesday to the entrepreneur Georgi Milev, who operates in four agribusiness sectors: grain, potatoes, livestock and vegetables.

Agriculture Minister Yavor Gechev said that Milev's business is a combination of everything that Bulgarian agriculture should be. He is the largest tenant farmer in the Pernik and Radomir region of western Bulgaria. And this year his farms produced the best wheat harvest he has ever seen.

In the 31st edition of the Agribusinessman of Bulgaria competition, awards were given in the categories of innovative product, market breakthrough, organic producer, green investment, and contribution to innovation in agriculture.
