The average contributory income in September was BGN 1,335.40, the National Social Security Institute said.

The average contributory income in the period between October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022 was BGN 1,253.37. The average contributory income for that period is used in calculating the new pensions awarded in October 2022.

The average contributory income in August was BGN 1,297.11, and the average contributory income in the period between September 1, 2021 and August 31, 2022 was BGN 1,238.96.
