site.btaCabinet Approves Consolidated Fiscal Programme Report for First Nine Months of 2022

The government approved a report on the cash execution of the state budget, including the central budget, and of the main indicators of the consolidated fiscal programme (CFP) for the first nine months of 2022.

On the basis of the data from the monthly cash execution reports of the budgets of the primary authorising officers, the cash balance of the CFP as of September 2022 is positive in the amount of BGN 989.2 million (0.6% of the estimated GDP) and is formed by an excess of revenues over expenditures of the national budget in the amount of BGN 468.5 million and of the EU funds in the amount of BGN 520.7 million. On a monthly basis, a deficit of BGN 712.3 million is reported for September.

The share of Bulgaria's contribution to the EU budget paid as of 30 September 2022 from the central budget amounts to BGN 1,237.3 million, which is in line with the current legislation in the field of EU own resources.

The amount of the fiscal reserve as of 30 September 2022 is BGN 13.2 billion, including BGN 12.9 billion of deposits of the fiscal reserve with the BNB and other banks, and BGN 0.3 billion of receivables from the European Union funds for certified expenditure, advances and others.
