site.btaBulgargaz Seeks 18.6% Month-on-Month Natgas Price Hike for December

Bulgargaz EAD on Thursday submitted to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission an application for the approval of a price of natural gas for December 2022 of BGN 145.87/MWh (EUR 74.5/MWh) exclusive of the cost of access, transmission, excise duty and value added tax.

The price proposed by Bulgargaz is by over 30% lower than the prices of December gas at Europe's gas hubs which approximate EUR 113/MWh.

The price proposal for December is 18.6% up from the BGN 123.01/MWh price for November.

The gas supplier will submit its final natgas price proposal for December 2022 on December 1, 2022, taking into account the quotes of the price-forming components by November 30, 2022.
