A total of 2,384 new passenger cars were registered in Bulgaria in October 2022, which is an increase of 32.3% compared to the same period last year, when 1,802 cars were registered, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) reported here on Thursday.

In comparison, the number of new passenger cars registered in the EU, increases by 12.2%, year-on-year.

From January to October 2022, total registrations of new passenger cars in Bulgaria rose by 16.9% (24,359), compared to the same period of 2021. From January to October 2022, sales of new cars in the EU have retreated by 8.1%.
