site.btaParliament Ratifies Revisions to Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement between Bulgaria and Germany

The National Assembly ratified a protocol amending an agreement between Bulgaria and Germany on avoiding double taxation. The ordinance provides for restricting the use of tax relief, when one of the countries deems that such tax relief is among the main objectives of any agreement or contract. 

The main goals of the adopted protocol amending the agreement are related to ordinances part of the so-called minimum standard under the model of the tax agreement of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development of 2017.
