site.btaBulgarian Tourism Ministry Wins Honorary Award for Best Stand at Travel Trade Fair in Thessaloniki

The Bulgarian Tourism Ministry won the honorary award for the best stand at the annual tourism exhibition PHILOXENIA in Thessaloniki, which this year was held in November 18-20, the Ministry said in a press release. 

The Bulgarian information stand at the event showcased one municipality: Bansko, which is famous for its mountain tourism and skiing facilities, and three travel companies: Tsarevgrad Turnov from Veliko Turnovo, and Rila Travel and New Sun Travel from Sofia. 

The traditional three-day tourism event in Thessaloniki is attended by companies and organizations from the entire tourism spectrum (Greek and international tourist destinations, hotels, travel agencies, travel agents, specialized press and media), as well as by selected invited buyers - hosted buyers - from target countries for the industry.
