site.btaEnergy Minister Presents Bulgaria's Investment Opportunities in Turkiye

Energy Minister Rossen Hristov Monday visited the high-tech solar panel plant of Smart Solar Technologies, which designs and builds solar parks, in Turkiye. Talking with the company's Chairman of the Board, Halil Demirdag, Hristov presented the opportunities for investment in green energy production in Bulgaria and its advantages.

Hristov said green energy production is one of the priorities of the Ministry's present leadership. "Bulgaria needs precisely this type of high-tech industry that emphasizes quality. We have the right conditions for construction of solar parks, which can be extremely efficient with modern technology," he said.

The Bulgarian official was shown around the production facility which employs more than 800 people and is focused down to the smallest detail.

In Istanbul, Hristov visited the Bulgarian St Stephen Church. He was welcomed by Archimandrite Charalampy Nichev, who spoke about its impressive history and gave the Energy Minister an icon of St Stephen.
