site.btaHistorical Park in Neofit Rilski Village Wins Bulgarians’ Votes in Annual Tourism Awards

The Historical Park in Neofit Rilski village, Varna region, was the winner in the Choice of the Bulgarians category in the Annual Tourism Awards. President Rumen Radev presented the prize to the creator of the project, Ivelin Mihailov.

The Historical Park was awarded yet another prize, this time Tourist Attraction/Site category, presented by the Chair of the parliamentary Committee on Tourism Tsoncho Ganev.

Tourism Minister Dimitrov presented the prize in the Tourist Destination category to Ardino Municipality.

Economy and Industry Minister Stoyanov presented the award in the Innovations category to Travel Line Bulgaria for its Bulgaria RoomMix Innovation 2022. 

Agriculture Minister Yavor Gechev presented the award of the Specialized Tourism category to the Young Wine Festival – Tourism Council – Plovdiv.

The Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Nebie Kabak, presented the award in the Tourist Municipality to Vetrino, the location of the Historical Park.

As to the journalistic materials on the subject of tourism, the television award went to TOURISM – TVT and Georgi Krumov for “Bulgaria. Its Card”; and the one for online media went to MU-ViTV – Varna and Magdalena Todorova for “The Black Sea Guards”.  

Regarding printed media, Pavlinka Ivanova and the Destinatsia Bulgaria journal were awarded for “Zaburdo – the Rhodope Miracle the World began Talking About”.

The award for publication in an internet blog went to “Landmarks in Troyan and the vicinity – culture, nature and spirituality”, bulgarianonthego.blog.

Tourism Minister Dimitrov presented the special award of the Ministry of Tourism for internationally recognized achievements and sustainable development in tourism to Plovdiv Municipality. Similar awards were given to the Happy restaurant, the health and wellness centre of the Intercontinental Hotel. 

Another special award for contribution to the positioning and promotion of brand Bulgaria and for internationally recognized achievements in tourism was awarded to photographer Vladislav Terziyski.
