site.btaInnovation Ministry: 7,600-plus SMEs Applied for Funding under Recovery and Resilience Plan

A total of 7,689 companies applied under the second procedure of the Recovery and Resilience Plan - "Information and communications technology solutions and cyber security in small and medium-sized enterprises". Companies could submit project proposals for two months until Monday afternoon, the Ministry of Innovation and Growth reported on Monday.

The funding applied for by micro, small and medium-sized companies is BGN 146.5 million, making it more than four times the budget for the measure, which is BGN 30.6 million. The documents review process has already started.

The list of approved businesses is expected to be published in early February 2023, after which the contracting process will commence. Around 1,500 companies will be supported with the available resources.
