site.btaInnovations Ministry: 953 Projects Will Be First to Receive Funding Under Recovery and Resilience Plan

The Innovations and Growth Ministry on Friday published on its website the first Bulgarian companies to tap funding under the Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Of the 2,423 applications for technological modernization, 953 projects will receive nearly BGN 260 million.

The measure was targeted at four economic centers: the processing industry, water, sewerage and waste management, IT and communications and scientific research.

Micro companies will be eligible for up to BGN 180,000  in grant funding, small companies up to BGN 350,000 and up to BGN 700,000.

Under the second procedure for IT and cyber security, nearly 7,700 applications, worth BGN 146 million, have been submitted by December 19. The Innovations Ministry will announce the selected companies by January 2023.
