site.btaBulgargaz Proposes 22.4% Month-on-Month Increase of Natgas Price for January

The final natural gas price which Bulgargaz EAD proposes for January 2023 is BGN 179.72/MWh (EUR 91.89/MWh) exclusive of the cost of access, transmission, excise duty and value added tax, Bulgargaz said. The natural gas price for December 2022 was BGN 146.09/MWh.

The gas supplier initially proposed a January price of BGN 204.53/MWh (EUR 104.57/MWh) to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, but back then Bulgargaz had yet to take into account the quotes of the price-forming components by December 31, 2022.

The January prices at Europe's gas hubs approximate EUR 118/MWh.
