In November 2022, the seasonally adjusted EU unemployment rate was at 6%, unchanged from October. It dropped down from 6.5% in November 2021, according to the latest Eurostat data published on Monday.

The seasonally adjusted eurozone unemployment was at 6.5% unchanged from October 2022, down from 7.1% in November 2021.

In Bulgaria, the seasonally adjusted unemployment in November 2022 retained its October levels at 4%. The registered unemployed were 129,000. In November 2021 the unemployment in Bulgaria was at 4.7%.

In November 2022, the seasonally adjusted youth unemployment (under 25-years of age) rose to 10.9% (around 14,000), compared with 10.6% in October.

Year-on-year, youth unemployment in Bulgaria dropped significantly, down from 18% in September 2021.
