The output index in the construction sector increased by 0.4% in November 2022 compared to the previous month, according to preliminary and seasonally adjusted data reported by the National Statistical Institute (NSI) here on Tuesday. The calendar adjusted data showed an 1.6% increase in construction output compared to the same month of 2021.

In November 2022, the construction production index, calculated from the seasonally adjusted data, was higher than the one in October. The civil engineering production index rose by 0.9%, while the production of building construction remained unchanged.

The November growth in the output in construction in 2022 was determined by the growth in civil engineering and building construction, which was 3.0% and 0.5%, respectively.
