Trade between Bulgaria and Germany reached the record-setting EUR 10 billion in the period from January to October 2022, the German-Bulgarian Industry and Commerce Chamber said Tuesday citing new figures released by the Federal Statistical Office.

During the said period, Bulgaria exported goods worth EUR 5.6 billion to Germany and while imports amounted to EUR 4.4 billion.

Bulgaria is expected to show a surplus in the trade balance with Germany for a seventh year running.

The final data for the full year 2022 is yet to be published, the German-Industrial Chamber said.
