site.btaEurostat: Industrial Production Up 2% in EU, Eurozone in November 2022, Y/Y, Bulgaria Ranks Fifth in EU

In November 2022 compared with November 2021, industrial production increased by 2.0% in both the euro area and the European Union, according to data by Eurostat, published on Friday. 

Among Member States for which data are available, the highest annual increases were registered in Ireland (+34.9%), Malta (+15.5%) and Denmark (+9.3%), followed by Belgium (+5.6%) and Bulgaria (+4.7%).

The largest decreases were observed in Estonia (-12.2%), Slovakia (-10.7%) and Romania (-4.0%).

In November 2022, the seasonally adjusted industrial production rose by 1% in the euro area and by 0.9% in the EU, compared with October 2022, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the EU. In October 2022, industrial production decreased by 1.9% in both the euro area and the EU. 

Among Member States for which data are available, the highest monthly increases were registered in Ireland (+6.4%), Luxembourg (+5%) and Malta (+4.6%). Bulgaria registered a month-on-month increase of 0.7% in November 22. 

The largest decreases were observed in Estonia (-3.7%), Sweden (-3.3%) and Croatia (-1.9%).
