A cyber attack of January 10 has led to serious disruption of the international services provided by UK's Royal Mail postal operator, Bulgarian Posts said on Monday.  The Bulgarian postal operator explained that deliveries from the UK will be delayed due to the affected processing and delivery of inbound and outbound international packages.

Clients will be informed on the Bulgarian Posts website when the situation returns to normal.

On January 13, BBC reported that the disruptions in international postal and courier services were caused by a ransomware cyber attack by a hacker group linked to Russian criminal organizations.
