On the eve of National Awakeners Day, November 1, the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) widened its circle of partners with Az-buki National Publishing House for Education and Science. The partnership agreement was signed by BTA Director General Kiril Valchev and Az-buki Director Emil Spahiyski.

The document envisages mutual exchange of information in conformity with copyright.

Valchev said that this is an agreement of mutual interest through which Bulgaria will reach the more specialized audiences of Az-buki, a publishing house with the Ministry of Education and Science that publishes an eponymous newspaper, nine scientific editions, many monographs and collections, and works on various projects related to the activity of hundreds of thousands of graduates of schools and universities in Bulgaria.

Spahiyski said that it is an honour for Az-buki to partner with BTA, "an institution which in these trying times remains a pillar of truth and opens our doors to the world". The agreement is aimed at jointly encouraging Bulgarians to study and get educated, he added.
