site.btaTwo Ukraine-based Newspapers Distinguished for Dissemination of Bulgarian Culture Abroad
Two Ukraine-based newspapers, Obozrenie Plus and Roden Krai, received the award of the National Endowment Fund 13 Centuries Bulgaria for contribution to the dissemination of Bulgarian culture by a Bulgarian-language media abroad.
The awards were presented by 13 Centuries Bulgaria Executive Director Slava Ivanova and accepted by Svetla Dragneva at the 17th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media in Tel Aviv. For the first time in the history of the award there are two winners.
The honour goes with a BGN 1,000 cash prize for each winner.
Anya Terzivets, presenter of The Voice of the Bulgarians on the Public TV Suospilne Odessa, also received BGN 1,000 in the form of a donation from 13 Centuries Bulgaria.
The World Meeting of Bulgarian Media is held in partnership with Aurubis Bulgaria, Postbank and Dimitar Madjarov - 2 Ltd.
