Seven Exhibitions Open at Plovdiv International Fair  on March 4


Plovdiv, Southern Bulgaria, March 2 (BTA) - Seven exhibitions
will open at the Plovdiv International Fair on March 4, the
highlights being the international vine growing and wine
producing Vinaria exhibition and the agricultural Agra
exhibition, said the Fair's press centre.

The Fair will feature tastings of food, wines, liquor and
gourmet delicacatessens. Over 650 companies from 25 different
countries will take part in the exhibitions of agriculture,
food, wine and tourism, which will last until March 8. Close to
40 different events are also included on the Fair's agenda.

Around 50 innovations will be presented at the Agra and
specialized BioAgra exhibitions. Technology and equipment for
wine growing and wine producing will be included in the Vinaria
exhibition, while Foodtech will reveal the face of the modern
food processing industry. The International Beekeeping
Exhibition, Api Bulgaria, will introduce visitors to the
achievements of Bulgarian beekeeping, while the Horeca Plovdiv
Exhibition will offer equipment for the hotel and restaurant
sector.

The Tastes of Italy presents the experience of leading experts
in the production of high-quality products, as well as
scientific research by the Plovdiv University of Food
Technologies. Visitors will be able to taste mozzarella,
cheeses, salami, olives, olive oil, among other traditional
Italian products. The Vinaria exhibition will feature tastings
of wines from close to 40 Bulgarian and foreign cellars.
Bulgarian and Spanish gourmet specialties and traditional
products are awaiting visitors of the Foodtech exhibition, where
old recipes will be brought to life.
