EC Approves Bulgaria-Macedonia Cross-border Cooperation Programme
Sofia, August 6 (BTA) - The European Commission on Wednesday approved the Bulgaria-Macedonia Cross-border Cooperation Programme, the Regional Development and Public Works Ministry said.
The programme comprises the regions of Blagoevgrad and Kyustendil in Bulgaria and Macedonia's North-East, East and South-East regions and will make available close to 20 million euro. It will fund projects in the fields of environment, tourism and improving competition in the cross-border region.
Not-for-profit organizations may apply under the programme.
The first call for proposals will open in the beginning of September.
